This app ("TILs Scoring App" / "BC TILs Scoring") does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or user information.
Its reference example images for scoring Tumour-Infiltrating Lymphocytes (TILs) in breast cancer histopathology slides are bundled with the app itself, so no internet connection or external server is needed to view them.
The app checks the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) on launch to see if a newer version is available, and will prompt you to update if so. This check only sends the app's public listing identifier and your device's country/language, the same information used to show localized store results — no personal data, device identifiers, or usage information is sent, and your installed app version never leaves your device (the comparison happens locally).
The app can also use your device's camera or photo library so you can view your own photo locally within the app, side by side with the reference images. That photo is never uploaded, transmitted, or shared — it stays on your device.
The app does not require account creation, does not use analytics or tracking tools, and does not collect any user data.
